as already explained that person who killed hz. hussain ra was a shia and he was from khuwarij sect of shia religion.
2ndly it is clearly addressed in quran sura al-ahzab para no. 22 that mothers of ummah ra are ahlul bait any one who read quran may acertain that what quranic verse said.
such sura reveilled for mothers of ummah, sura speaks about mothers of ummah before ayah-e-thareet and ayah-e-thateer itselfs addressed to mothers of ummah and after ayah-e-thateer sura still addressed to mothers of ummah shia pick one portion and labled it to hz. ali ra and his family.
