I must make it clear that shia historians admit that incident of karbala was a political and khilafate related confrontation. Yazeed After comming in to power, Shia historian Mullah majlisi write:
" when Waleed called Imam Hussain [AS] and informed him of the death of Mauwiyah (ra) Imam[As] said “innalilahe wa innailahie rajaoon”, then Waleed read the letter from Yazeed, Imam[AS] said " I do not thinkyou would like me to take a secreative pledge, tomorrow I will come with all the other people, this will give me time to think things over, mean while it will give you time to think also"" [Jila Alyoon Page 349 and Wa mintahi Ala Al Abas Al Qumi page 289]
The declaration of “innalilahi…” on hearing the news of death of Hz. Amir Mauwiyah[ra] proves that Imam[ra] considered the Amir muslim (how many shia follow this sunnah of their Imam [ra]=NONE). let us continue, during the night Imam[ra] might have decided to stay nuteral and without making any statement for or against the khilafate of the Yazeed left Medina during the month of SHABAN , Imam[ra] arrives in Makkah with his family and stay there till Dulh hajjah , this almost five month period, shia when discussing the issue potray that he[ra] stayed in Makkah for few days], During this period no representative of the Khalif contacted the Imam[ra] and asked or demanded the pledge, nor is Imam[ra] on the record making any statement for or against the khilafate of Yazeed.
Had Shian-e-Kufa not invited the Imam[ra] to kufaby promising him 100,000 swords, the incident at Karbala could have been avoided [today shia claim that Khalif had assasins in Makkah to kill the Imam[ra] Mullah Majlisi did not claim this in the book that I have]
INVITATIONS
In the book Jila Alayoon, Mullah Majlisi admits that “MOMIN SHIA” Suleman Bin Zard Khazai, Musaib Bin Nakhba, Rafa Bin Shadad, Habib Bin Mughaira, presented Hz. Mauwiyah as a Jabbir Dictator in their first letter, Hussain bin Hani further wrote, Today we have no Imam/leader, please come to us, we are your followers, when you get here we will throw Hz. Nauman Bin Bashir [ra] out of Kufa Jila Alayoon page 356 and Wa Mintahi Al Mal Vol: I page 303]
This letter was delivered to Imam[ra] by Abdullah Bin Masma Hamdani and Abdullah Bin Daal, followed them were Qais Bin Mazhar, Abdullah Bin Shadad, Amar Bin Abdul Brought 150 letters Shian-e-Kufa elders and tribal leaders and also told Imam[ra] that his followers and loyalist were waiting for him to arrive. Within Two days another group of Shian-e-Kufa arrives this included Hani Bin Hani sabih and Said Bin Abdullah Hanfi. See how alay Yahood and Majusi=Shian-e-Kufa are knitting the web for the innocent Imam[ra] ]
“Daily letters were arriving at time Imam [AS] would recieve 600 letters this included letters from Shisht Bin Rabi, Hajjar Bin Al Bijaar, Zaid Bin Haris, Arwa Bin Qais, Umar Bin Hajjaj and Mohammad Bin Umar” Jila Alayoon page 357 and Mintahi Al Mal Vol: I Page 303]
During this time Imam[ra] did not respond to any letter, in total imam[ra] recieved 12000 letters from Shian-e-Kufa…

…Imam[ra] write a letter to is follower. loyalist and well wisher in Kufa:
[persian text is: "EAN NAMA AST AZ HUSSAIB BIN ALI SABOU GHIROW MOMIN WA MUSLMANAN WA SHIAN…]
“From Hussain Bin Ali this letter is sent to all Momin shia and Muslims, I have recieved many letters from you all, I am sending my cousin brother Muslim Bin Aqeel, if he writes towards me that the letters written to me are from responsible and trustworthy people, then inshallah I swear by Allah I will be with you soon”
In the book Jila Alayoom Page 357 and Mintahi Almall Vol:I page 303, the concept of Imamah as Hz. Hussain discribed, first persian text:
" KAY IMANAY NIAST MAGAR KIS KAY KAND DARMIYAN MARDUM BA KITAAB KHUDAD KIYAM NAMYD DARMYAN MARDUM BA ADALAT WA KADAM AZ JADA SHARIAT MUQADASA BAIROOM NAGUSAR DO MARDUM RABAR DEEN HAQ MUSTAQEEM"
English: " Imam will be the one who will instruct people, decide their issues and establish justice through book of Allah[Quran] and will not step outside the shariah and will stick to deen-e-haq."
KHILAFATE:
So far we have established that it was SHIAN-E-KUFA whose treachery was the reason for imam leaving Makkah for KUFA, Imam[ra] during his 5 month stay in the city does not make statement for or against Yazeed’s Khilafate, the life of Imam[ra] is not under threat in Makkah as he is with muslims [ahly sunnah], there is no record of enemity between Hashmi or Umavi families, which shia ZAKIRS claim to day no shia historian claimed this].
It was continious letter which forced Imam[ra] to believe that Yazeed was not rulling according to SHARIAH and was Violating the DEEN, how could the grandson of the messenger of Allah tolerate this blatant flagrancy of the DEEN, Hazrat Hussain[ra] was convinced beyond the point of no return, had Imam known that Yazeed was ruling according to shariah as confirmed after the incident of Karabala by Imam[ra]'s brother Imam Mohammad Bin Hanifia [rta], Imam would not have left Makkah. Imam [ra] was above petty personal conflicts, as it is explained above that it is Imam’s duty to establish rule of SHARIAH [Quran] Imam/leader/khilafa is person who immplement Shariah.

OPPOSITION AND DESSERTION BY SHIAN-E-KUFA
As Muslim Bin Aqeel arrive at Kufa, same shia historians estimate 18,000, some say 30,000 some even put the numbers of shia who took pledge to 80,000, after taking pledge of Alligence from Shian -e-Ali of Kufa, Muslim Bin Aqeel Immediatly writes about the receptive enviorment of Kufa to the Imam[ra].

Side bar question: Above are the names of the most eminent companions and the leading members of Banu Hashim, if Islam was in danger why did these people not left with the Imam, were they less of muslim than the Imam, even hz. Ibn Abbass [ra] Nouzobillah, why did they stayed behind, shia have never answered this question.
When Imam reached Karbala he was confronted by an army of thousand men lead by none other than “HUR BIN YAZEED” Usmani Muslim who fought against Hz. Ali[ra] under hz. Amir Mauwiyah[ra], Shia ask this question as to where were muslims when the incident of Karbala was unfolding, here is ONE]
THOUSAND MAN ARMY
Imam saw I think he was told by his companions] that most of the people in the HUR BIN YAZEED [Usmani Muslim] army were SHIAN-E-KUFA, who had written letters to him,After praising Allah Imam[AS] said " I have not come here on my own, Yours over and over pledges and letters have brought me here, If you are steady on your pledges I will stay or I will go back" SHIAN-E-KUFA [may Allah put them in the deepest of hell hole] Kept quite [Jila Alayoon page 376]
Comment: Imam[ra] is himself is the witness as to who made up the first army that confronted him it was SHIAN-E-KUFA and it is not I who is asying this it a SHIA HISTORIAN MULLAH MAJILISI who is confirm this fact of history.
The whole army including Hur bin Yazeed prayed Salah behind Imam. Then Hur swore by Allah that he does not know about the letter inviting Imam[AS] to Kufa. Imam asked Atba Bin Saman to bring forth 12000 letters and read names off the letters of the people inviting him to Kufa. The people Imam was calling out to remain silent (this proves that the army of Hur was made up of Shian-e-Kufa) [wa kazafi mantahi Al mal vole: 1 page 330]
Hur bin Yazeed again swore by Allah that he did not know about the letters, but still he would not allow the imam to return to Makkah and if imam tried, he would fight. Imam went left through Qudsia and the army of treacherous Shian-e-Kufa followed. Hur ask Imam[AS] to avoid war with the army from Kufa. Imam replies, that I will fight these treacherous people and I am not scared of death. Again army performs Salah behind Imam, a Makki follower of Imam[AS] Halal Bin Nafia remind Imam[AS] how these very Shian-e-Kufa broke pledge and betrayed his father Hz. Ali (RA) and today he was surrounded by the same treacherous Shia of Ali (Jila Alayoon page 381/ Mantai Al Mal Vole: 1 page 332/333).
Comment:As it is clear from above that it was Shian-e-Kufa who betrayed and killed Hz. Ali (RA). The shia who blame Hz. Talha (RA) Zubair (RA). Amir Manwiyah (RA) for the death and hardship of Hz. Ali (RA) actually trying to cover up the crime of their fore fathers [jews and Zorastrian] against Ahly Baite.
When Amaar Bin Saad came with 4000 men army, he asked his officers and pesonel to go and equire as to why Imam came to Kufa, every one refused, Mullah Majlisi records in his book Jali Alayoon [could not make out the page # book is very very old]
" every one refused, as most of them were those people who wrote letters and invited the Imam [AS] to Kufa, one Kura Bin Qais went, Imam[As] Informed him, it was people from your city[kufa] who wrote letters and invited me[that is why I came] If you want I can go back"
When Amaar Bin Saad recieved this message, he was happy that war withImam could avoided [mantahi Al amal Vol: page334]
But Shimmer Zee Al Joshan, the brother in law and personal body guard of Imam Ali[AS] who faought under Imam Ali [AS] in Jama and Safeen, insisted on capturing the Imam[AS]. Amaar bin Saad resisted this suggestion, Shimmer [shian-e-Ali] went to kufa and got direct order from Ibn Ziad [Shian-e-Ali] to kill Imam[As] in case he refused or resisited capture. on one of the darkest day in the history of Islam, brother in law of Imam Ali[AS] lead 4000 men army of Kufi shian-e-Ali. The amirs of this army included Shia Bin Rabi you have read this earlier in the article, he is one of the shia who wrote and invited Imam][Jali Alayoom#382]
Musaib Bin Nakhba also one of the shia who wrote leter to Imam][Majalis Al Momineen]
Musaib Bin Nakhba was the first person to cut the head of the Imam[khulasatul Musaib#37]
Arwa Bin Qais [also one of the shia who invited Imam] and Qais bin Ashis also one of the shia] he is the same person who removed the sheet off the body and ran off with it[khulasatul Musaib# 192]
When Kufi army came forward one of the Maki companion remember this title of the friend “Maki”] Barbareen Bin Hadeer said: " Are you not happy to let ahley Baite return to their home. O Kufi it is a sorry day today, You[shian-e-Ali] are the same people, who took pledge and wrote letters to invite the family of prophet[saw] to your country. Now that Imam[AS] is here, you Kufi have refused him[AS] water and want to impose IBN ZIAD [shian-e-Ali] on him[AS]. You are bad people, May Allah not water you on the Judgement day." [Jali Alayoon #391]
CONCLUSION:
It is now established from shia sources that the people who INVITED, BETRAYED, DESERTED and KILLED IMAM were none other than SHIAN-E-ALI from KUFA, over and over shia historian Majlisi present witnesses as to the origin of the armies that confronted Imam, shia over and over ask where were the muslim, why did they not come forward to defend the Imam, you shia should read your own book, when you call muslim killers you include Ahley Baite in it too, do you forget that Hz. IBN ABBAS[ra], IMAM MUHAMMAD BIN HANAFYAH[rta], IMAM YAHYA[rta] and many more, did not accompany the Imam, did they turn apostate too?, but this is not where the muslim were, you shia have obscured the history with your TAQEEYAH[lies] when Imam[ra] left MAKKAH, the muslims of Makkah sent FIFTY young men along Imam for his protection and in history they are referd to as Maki Companions, Mullah majlisi inadvertently mention only one such companion, all these MAKI YOUTH died defending IMAM[ra] and ARMY OF SHIAN-E-ALI killed and mutelated the Imam and his body:
*“O Allah I beseech You to condemn the killers of our Imam Hussain [ra] and all their genrations to such a part of Hell where they are tromented like none other”
