202 dismissals in 52 tests. That is right up there with the very best.
And he has the best dismissals/innings ratio amongst all Pak keepers despite dropping and missing loads. Add to that batting average of 31.35 with 6 test hundreds (2634 runs)
Wasim Bari 228 in 81 tests
Kamran Akmal 202 in 52 tests
Moin Khan 147 in 69 tests

Re: Kamran Akmal only 2nd Pakistani wicket-keeper to have 200+ scalps in career
He should thanks his fellow bowlers for sending so many catches his way. Had he held on to all the dropped catches/missed stumping he would be in top 5 by now.
Re: Kamran Akmal only 2nd Pakistani wicket-keeper to have 200+ scalps in career
I want Kamran on top despite of his drop catching ratio.
Bari like today always played a role of dictator …I was just checking record books and wounder we had Tasleem Arif who scored double Century in his 3rd Test against Aussies but i regret that even Selector didn’t give him chance in ODI’s (he played only 2 ODi’s ) despit of poor batting of Bari’s.
Tasleem Test Career was ended with a batting average of 62.62.
Re: Kamran Akmal only 2nd Pakistani wicket-keeper to have 200+ scalps in career
and Australia. not sure about South Africa.
Captain Jee, count every series in all countires between summer 2006 when Pakistan played England and 2010 when Pakistan played australia. Akmal struggled everywhere during that 4-5 years period.
