Wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal has been included in Pakistan’s squad for the ODI series against New Zealand after being left out of the Test and Twenty20 squads. He exchanges places with his younger brother Adnan, who misses out. Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq, who played the first two ODIs against South Africa but not the final three, also finds a place, while opener Ahmed Shehzad returns to the side, suggesting he is being considered for Pakistan’s World Cup squad.
Kamran is an insult to Pakistan Cricket along with Ijaz Butt. Anybody who witnessed the Sydney Test V Australia could see Kamran's intentions in that game. He is a corrupt entity which explains his 5 very decently sized house in Lahore and several Bank Accounts across the globe. I think 1 Akmal is more than enough for the Pakistan Team, and that should be limited to Umer.
Cannot disagree too much with the chosen ODI squad (which will most likely be our world cup squad too) except for the omission of Yousuf Pakistan ODI squad: Shahid Afridi (capt), Muhammad Hafeez, Kamran Akmal (wk), Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq, Asad Shafiq, Umer Akmal, Abdul Razzaq, Abdul Rehman, Saeed Ajmal, Shoaib Akhtar, Umer Gul, Wahab Riaz, Sohail Tanveer, Tanveer Ahmed, Ahmed Shehzad
In the absence of Aamir and Asif, these are the best available players
Yousuf's omission seems like a blunder to me. He adds stability and experience to the talented yet vulnerable middle order.

This proves again and again that no one is bigger than the game. Players must not let anything get to their head. The competition is simply too strong these days. Once at the top they must appreciate and treasure those moments and try their hardest to lengthen their stay. With Pak players what happens most of the time is they get a big head, then they start doing all sorts of dramas trying to pressure and even blackmail the team sometimes. Remember Younus's dramas that led to his missing a lot of cricket. Same with Yousuf with hisYousuf's ridiculous retirement for show. Now he is seriously facing retirement.
Given that Yousuf is FIT to play, I'd have taken Yousuf at the cost of Misbah. There is no substitute of experience and class even if he is not TOP fielder.
What Kamran did in Australia showed clearly to everyone that he is a corrupt player who let down Pakistan for personal gains. Remember that missed run-out? This may not be provable but as obvious as daylight.
And yet this person is STILL being supported by PCB. It does not matter how many runs he makes, and it does not matter if he let Pak win the worldcup single-handedly. He still would be a person who sold the country.
