in my recent visits to pakistan i have seen that the entry to any airbase infact any area where millitary or ex millitary officers live is such a pain …there are so many obstacles starting from quite a distance to the post and then on the check post you have to put your airforce id in front of a camera so that the guard inside the guard room sees it and then opens the gate and if you are not an official you have to present your id card and phone number of the person you are visiting, the guard calls the person to confirm and then opens teh gate…and through out this procedure he never comes out of the guard room in direct line of fire…so how the hell 10 ppl can cross 3 check posts?

the terrorists entered base from Pind Suleman Makhan village close to Kamra Base.
