Pakistan signed those deals in good faith and as I expected, the Taliban did not adhere to them and used that time to rebuild their strength. So thats why I opposed them and I was right yet again. 
Pakistan is different than Afghanistan. We never had an Islamic Extremist Government run Pakistan the way it has been in Afghanistan. So Pakistan making peace deals with these TTP terrorists is like giving up part of Pakistan’s sovereignty.
The Taliban are a bigger part of Afghanistan since they ran the country. So there has to be a political framework in which they are brought on board and there is reconciliation. The sticking point is for the Taliban harboring foreign terrorists like Al Qaeda and using it as a base to plan global terrorist attacks.
