I was elegantly surprised and pleasantly amazed during the Presentation Ceremony, as I couldn’t stop smiling when Rameez “I need a haircut” (That sign was funnieee :D) Raja spoke in Urdu with Kamran Akmal. As soon as that moment occured, the crowd erupted, so much so as even I couldn’t resist myself from mumbling “WOW! What the…”? Maybe it was because I was watching my favorite sport after quite a period of time. I know that sometimes cricketers give their thoughts in Urdu during their short interviews at the National Stadium, but it took me by a surprise, more so because the reason mentioned above.
Oh, and for the thread title......It's true......It's damn true. :biggthumb

Someone upload that part.
I didn’t understand a single word of him when he spoke English. I deliberately turned my volume all the way up, and God, it was nowhere near the pain capacity of nails against a chalkboard. Very difficult to interpret.
Re: Kami Mian talked in Urdu like a Mian Mithoo (It's Official......Urdu > Sliced Bread)
kamran can't speak english and flintoff does not speak urdu. He lives in pakistan, the language is urdu not english, you dont see people trying to learn urdu. I feel sad for him alot of people make fun of him for several reasons one of which is his english

Re: Kami Mian talked in Urdu like a Mian Mithoo (It’s Official…Urdu > Sliced Bre
Exactly cheetah, you hit the nail on the head. Cricketers are there to play cricket, not display their linguistic skills. It’s their contribution on the cricket field with which they should be judged, not how well they speak a particular language. If you want to hear English, go to Ganguly… he’s pretty fluent.
I can bet Flintoff and or any other member of the English team isn’t even 10% as good in Urdu as Kamran or Inzi are in English.
