Film is made by Kamal Hassan ans stars Hema Malini, Shahrukh Khan, Rani Mukherjee, Kamal Hassan, Iravati Harshe, Atul Kulkarni and late Mohan Gokhale. A must see film for Indians and Pakistanis.

Naseer Ud Deen Shah as Gandhi this I have to see, I have heard that the movie is really against Muhammad Ali Jinnah's idea of a separate Country for the Muslims and also against Jinnah, if seriously this is the case I am going to protest against this movie. Always Muhammad Ali Jinnah has been considered as the bad guy in the eyes of Indians, as they are misinformed in their history books, they have no idea that thre Qaid was known as the representative for Hindus and Muslims. He himself was against Muslim League till he saw the real face of Gandhi working in the interests of Hindus only.
it should've have been called:

I think the film criticizes Mahatma Gandhi's actions during partition. Kamal Hassan has recited some Marathi poetry (Hindi translation) by Savarkar who was a Gandhi critic. I dont think Jinnah is shown in bad light though.
