Kamal Ahmed Rizvi is a big name in PTV drama. I saw him in

He is good writer and actor. he used to live in lahore them shift to karachi. long time did not see him on TV.

A detail eulogy on KAMAL AHMED RIZVI soon follows...but just a short few liners....here;
KAMAL AHMED RIZVI.....is, in real sense, a KAMAL which the Pak-Showbiz was blessed when he suddenly made his way to the mini-tube..back in late sixties...with the advent of his ALIF-NOON with Rafi Khawar (Nanna) as his Dr.Watson!
KAR was the magic of stage when it came to some of the most reckoned and remarkable stage plays whichw were also produced on Lahore & Karachi TV Centres....and the one I can never forget (having been given a chance to do a 10 liner role as the driver of saheb in love with begum saheba's maid) is BULA'QEE BUDZAAT where Qavi, Kamal Bhai and Afzal Chitta ruled the audience almost making them fall of their seats at the Theosophical Hall, Bunder Road, Karachi during that winter of 1969.
The scribe also holds the honor of having done a major role in KAR's all time hit from Karachi TV Centre titled AAP KA MUKHLIS with Roohi Bano in lead with me....my first play with her in 1973.

Kamal Rizvi sahab is one of the great geniuses of Pak Showbiz. You can easily compare him to Shoaib Mansoor today. Here are a couple of interesting facts about Kamal Rizvi sahab:
-He was born in 1930, so his current age is 78 years old.
-He used to be a friend of the writer Saadat Hasan Manto, till the latter died in 1955.
-Contrary to popular belief, he did not hang out or socialize with Rafi Khawar (Nanna of Alif Noon). Their relationship was mostly professional but still cordial. Nanna used to hold him in great esteem, and gave him a lot of credit for his success.
-Currently lives in Karachi with his third wife (has been divorced a couple of times in the past).
-Does not hold Pride of Performance award that he recieved in high regard, as he feels that the governments have not done justice to showbiz and himself.
