kaleem bhaijaan, we're not talking about libralism or conservatism or republicanism...all we're saying that there are people in this world who are pushing the world towards destruction because of their arrogance, ignorance and self-serving movtives...it just so happens that those they are all conservatives and republicans which lead us to believe that there is something vial inbred in conservatism that make these people blind from fact and science..

Kaleem, those ideas began as liberal ideas and were were seen as wacky by the conservative establishment at the time. But great liberal ideas always become great American traits and then conservatives talk about how great America is and how looney and anti-American the liberals are. The whole Constitution and Bill of Rights were the most liberal documents of their time.
What you describe as social problems of the middle east are the consevative ideals of many Muslim areas, including in areas of Pakistan. So instead you decide to move to the liberal bastion of the US, claim its liberalism as American traits and and act as though what makes American is its conservatism?

ppl think that a moderate muslim is someone who does not fully practice his religion, a misnomer really.
maybe the term needs to be a muslim moderate, so a muslim who is balanced and moderate in his political views, how much he practices his religion? it could be crossing all the ts and dotting all is or could be a little bit here and a little bit there. How much a person practices religion has little to do with their political thought.
