Na dil mai koi malal rakhe,
Hamesha apna khyal rakhe!
Apne ghum sare mujhko de day,
Aur tamam khushiyan sambhal rakhe!
Kahin mile to usay ye kehna
Mai tanha sawan bita chuka hon,
Mai sare arman jala chuka hon,
Jo shole bharke thay khwahishon k
Wo ansuon se bujha chka hon**
