I am just glad they FINALLY cleared up whose Daddy is it anyways LOL Doesn't reduce the grossness of the act but at least doesn't make me want to puke.
Why is Sabreen playing such a miniscule role? I think she's had 2 lines so far "khaana kaisa hai" and "khana khaaye gai" - really?? an actress of Sabreen's caliber playing such a teensy weensy role. Maybe it will get better in future episodes.
I liked Ayesha Khan's dialogue as she starts the show "meri 2 minute ki khamoshi etc..." very well written! I believe the writer is someone new?
Really enjoying Humayun in the negative role after Uraan.
k so everyone's posting diff things and now i'm confused. Who is Syed Umar's kids!?
I know that Humayon's daughter calls Syed Umar "nana" so that means that humayon is his son in law? Then...what talooq does Syed Umar have with Azaan's mother? I'M SO CONFUSED
I AM LOVINGGG THIS DRAMA!!! Humayon portrays his character so well. His acting, style, dialogues.. amazing! I think I like him better in a bad boy role, he looks cute
Love it when he says to his FIL.. “tauba tauba, aap ko to pata hai main sharab ko haath nahi lagata”… what a manipulator, he has everyone dancing on his fingertips, a very strong and dominant role, and he’s doing excellent.
i started watching Kafir since yesterday. did lots of skipping. though i don't like ayesha in these tomboys kinda roles she is humayon's takkar ki. only after epi 9 i'm getting interested in this one. story has become pretty interesting now n it seem shayan is not that powerful afterall. he depends on his mom but the way he changes colours is very amusing calling shabbir" kubra aashiq"
I really like this drama. All the English dialogue is amusing, but I have a feeling people in powerful positions in Pak actually talk like this. I'm just not used to it.
I like the guy who is playing the t.v. producer. Him and his mom are funny and cute. I think he has developed a teeny weeny crush on Ayesha Khan's character.
no they wanted a really bold(hamaqat ki had tak) with a tomboy attitude n maira won't fit that.. n wats with calling ur bf"sweet sa gadha" n calling gf"ullo ki pathi" a total turn off for me.
I really like Aisha Khan in this role. Her character was raised by a single parent and had to develop an assertive personality. The glasses also suit her her character. It's different and I'm glad she's stepping out of the box and not doing a typical role. She is a diverse actress you just can't type cast.
^ Same here. I am liking both Aisha and Humayun in their respective roles. Thank goodness they are not playing a "pair" here. Apparently the writer is someone who writes suspense type of stuff for Akhbar-e-Jahan.
I am really enjoying the twists and turns - they really make you laugh! :D
So did anybody watch the latest episode? Shabir Jan's character really irritated me, how he acted all masoom in front of his mother.
I am SO GLAD the mother saw through him and stood by her niece. Even though she could not physically protect Samina Peerzada's character, she knew she was telling the truth and her son was lying. Bravo!!
Is anybody else amused seeing the characters? Shabir Jan is probably the same age as the woman playing his mother .... and Samina Peerzada looked silly acting like a young girl (even though it was a flashback). I think they should have hired younger actors for the flashback scene.
i agree samina perzada was looking very old wth her face n y didnt she said anything tht really pissed me n is mehru daughter of shabbir jan's wife or he had another wife also bc her wife wasnt happy when he brought her in the room y a mother would act like tht anyhow picture is much clear now
^ Shabir Jan's wife wanted alone (intimacy) time with her husband, Shabir Jan. She was getting really irritated that he kept bringing their daughter into the bedroom every night. It is her daughter, but I guess the wife has needs. :D
I agree Mehnaz - Both Shabbir with his overweight and bloated face and Samina with her older lady look did not work at all playing some 20 somethings in the flashback.
What did Aisha Khan say to Humayun's character at the end "I know about your father??"
