thank you for your detailed answer…but, i’ve seen in Allahabad what i described in my prior post. i have also seen the bodies of unmarried women taken to hsmshaan ghaaT…is it possible that certain people in poorab also do it?

Generally Purbiyas are led by Saryupareens and Kanyakubjis brahmins and these people are very strict and traditional in their approach towards thing, I didn’t see the first event happening in Kanpur ever:confused:

I also dont remember Kafan Silna.
