Kabir Ali v Pak Fast bowlers

Kabir Ali has broken into the England team against SA and today took his first scalp in the opening over. He’s had a fantastic county season and it will be interesting to see how he compares to Pakistan’s up and coming fast bowlers in the years to come.

Kabir’s on record as saying he’s England through and through which is great…he’d never have been picked for Pakistan anyway and it’s good to see Pak born cricketers breaking through into the England team. Here’s a clue as to where his other loyalties lie though as he’s keen to be pictured in earlier years with Shoaiby who looks as clueless as ever.

We got many bowlers back in Pakistan who are similiar to Kabir Ali and who will never get a chance to play for the national because of our screwed up domestic system.

Kabir is cool. He's decent-would'nt make the Paki 11, but eh -I;d play for England. (Or any other team if it meant playing test cricket)

i watched him yesterday that guy has alot of poteltial :p

I saw him for the first time yesterday although only a couple of overs. Will have to see a bit more to see whether he's got enought to stand out from the rest of the fast medium bowlers. Sami and Shoaib have got too much firepower to be compared but maybe he can compete with the likes of Gul and Shabir Ahmed.

he'd never make to the pak A team, so good atleast he is playing....
