jab tere shehar me raha kerte the
hum b chup chap jiya kerte the,

ankhon me piyas hoa kerti thi
dil me toofan utha kerte the,

log aate the ghazal sunne
hum teri bat kiya kerte the,

ghar ki dewar sajane ki khatir
hum tera naam likha kerte the,

aaj teri tasveer dekhi to yaad aya
kabhi hum b muhabbat kiya kerte the,
