Whats the best way to clean them? Wash in soapy water or get them dry cleaned?? The darzis have gotten them really dirty while sewing them and i dont feel like wearing them without washing them first after the wedding.

ummm....depends which type of kaam u have on the dresses
if its fine threadwork ....you can handwash it.....but dabka etc. (zaree ka kaam) tends to turn blackish n loses its shine upon washing/contact with water .....for these its best to dry clean!

Afia baji: most of the clothes are done in cut-nalki and same color dabka. So I guess dry cleaning is the way to go. Thanks for the tip. I really hope that the dry cleaning folks dont mess them up. can you tell I am really protective about my clothes? :D
funguy: yes i am pretty sure the darzis got stains on them. If not , must be the dukaan walas.
