I gave almost 10 suits for kaam but i wasnt sure what kaam will give an appropriate after wedding cloth look.

Almost 8 suits had kaam of:

  • tilla
  • resham
  • sitaray
  • moti
  • kundan
  • rhinestones

only 2 suits had these in them:

  • kora
  • dabka

Now i am unsure if the first 8 suits will give that light - heavy formal after shadi wear clothing. Most of those 8 suits have body cuts full, one is an angrakha style suit, etc. What did you girls get? Does onyl dabka, kora & stone work give the shadyish look to a cloth?

No, it doesn't ahve to be. The suits you have described will give a more modern and updated look then just traditional Kora and dabka.

**A mix of kaam gives the shadyish look to an outfit. It would be predominantly one kind of work but would have a touch of others as well. **

Thanks girls. What other types of kaam should i give? i still have fabric for 2-3 left.
I am tired of tilla, resham etc. I want to give a new look. Tilla, resham, gota, dabka all give a classic traditional look.

you can get stones, beads and pearl work as well.
