have seen some brides in red outfits that have what looks in pics to be silvery kaam but their zavaar is gold so I’m confused… does gold work sometimes looks silvery in pics (mayeb they chose a light gold?) or have they selected silver?
My designer sent me pic of sample of my outfit and I can see bits of gold but it also has a slightly silvery look to it in places… she calls it “dull gold” and has not used any silver
picture quality si really bad though to it may just be pictures.
Re: kaam/dabka/zardozi
Can you show an example of what you mean? Dabka comes in many shades, including a very pale gold that has a silverish quality but is warmer in tone.
Re: kaam/dabka/zardozi
Yes I know what you're talking about. Growing up, I always thought what my mom called "dull gold" was more silver in color. It's an antique look, and gold jewelry looks just fine with it. Not to worry.
Re: kaam/dabka/zardozi
It's probably just the bad quality of the picture. Ask your designer to send another more clearer picture so you're at ease as to what to expect and know for sure what the work is like.
The 'dull gold' is also called 'antique gold', and like someone else has mentioned, it just gives an antique look, and there's nothing to be worried about.
