How do you say impatient in Punjabi? Is it kaali or tawli? If they both are acceptable variants, which is more commonly used?

always used kaali 2nd one is new to me.

^Thanks. Same here...I've never heard of the 2nd one either. I'm hoping to get more responses just to get a general idea of which of the two more people are familiar with.

its kaali....commonly used

tawli is also a word...

lekin buhat kum use hota dekha

the word 'taawli' could be 'utaawli' **= **impatience

talking about more common, hasn't be-sabra / be-sabri replaced these words in Punjabi?

^Baysabra came to mind as well and I've heard others use it. But in my family, it's kaali that's commonly used.

It's both. Ka'la. Utawla, and like muqawee said besabra.

I don't think one is more commonly used than the other.
