Kaaba in Karbala....!!!

I'm not a Shia, I'm a Sunni!

Before you get into those Offensive Modes, All of you should maybe think for just a little while what you're about to say, and who you say it to.

Before the Kaaba, Prophet Abraham(as) built Masjid-ul-Aqsa, in Palestine, and people used to face that way to pray, then after the emergence of the Kaaba in Mecca, Which he built (thanks to Allah Swt), We pray that way now, because it is believed that is exactly where the Kabah in Jannah is located...

And my point isn't from any hindu perspective,
What I said was, they Can build whatever they want, We will still face in that direction (mecca) because thats where Allah has COMMANDED us too, and we DO NOT WORSHIP THE KABAH! WE WORSHIP ALLAH (swt)

The Kaba is nothing, just a location as to which way you should face, and every Muslim should know that, yes these Shias did something against it, But see, they're makingit like they're worshipping the kaabah. When You're not supposed to AT ALL! Kaaba can be destroyed for all I care tommorow, I'll stand firm in my belief in allah, because its not that imporant.

The prophet (pbuh) once said, while pointing to the kaabah, " You have no authority over me, I go in tawaf because I worship my lord, Allah(Swt)."

Umar ibn Khattab said pointing towards the Kaaba. " You have no authority over me!"

and lets not forget it HAS BEEN Destroyed and rebuilt many times.

Although it holds Location value, the Kabah isn't something we worship, so those who're calling me hindu and what not, should know their priorities, and should do a retest on where their faith is!

and how do you know its not permanently placed there? Maybe they just made a replication of the Kabah, no? For a religious event or something? Parade or something, how do you know they actually built another kabah?

I can clearly see plastic all over it.

Its true that extremist shias do that. However majority are not like that. May Allah guide us all.

I am shia but I didn’t know their was a “kaaba in Karbala” as Islamabad has titled.

I talked to other shias and showed them the pic, many didn’t know what it was and where it was…until I came across someone whose been there and she said it’s in Iran and it’s just a replica of kabaa. People come to see it. (For those who have not seen kabaa).

I doubt if any shia think it’s holy.

:hehe: Nadia_H this sounds so familiar. That leader of the banned extremist party. Ahh that speech :mudhosh:

Chill brother waqar.

Yeh lo …

Islamabad, you have made it appear like there is an actual 'kaaba' built by the people in Karbala, just like the other day you posted a picture of an Indian concert, like that actually happened in Pakistan. This is a replica that they take (like a flag) in their processions. If you want to criticize something, atleast state some facts. Otherwise the discussion goes off in all tangents.

Do you think that is a hologram? I am not saying they made it permanently or not. Its very making is wrong. What are they trying to prove? On top of that how dare they (even if it is a model) remove Allah’s name or ayat from Quran and put Ali :razi: name. Thats wrong! What is wrong is wrong.! I have seen many such models but never was it so big just like the actual one. This just shows the messed up aqeedah.

Regarding the othe rthread about Indian show, for God’s sake,…it was exactly as was the article on BBC. What does a concert look like? If you wanna criticize for the sake of criticizing than go ahead, but atleast have the guts to accept the reality. I know you love concerts, but it doesen’t mean that if you like them, they should be Islamically justified.

Could you please let me know what the limits are on the sizes of replicas that signify a "clean" aqeedah? Thanks.

First of all , I think there is no need of replicas. However, if we went to present to children in a school, about hajj and umra we may be showing them through a small model. But what is this as shown in picture? What is its purpose and its like the sam esize as the real one…on top of that if you watch the video, even the ground is white just like real…in addition the Ali :razi: written all over its border..! Why???

Islamabad when a model is built, it is usually made to look like the real thing as far as possible. Hence the whote floor. Writing Ali on the replica is wrong IMHO, but my question was abpout something else. I was just wondering what is the exact size in cm or metres or inches that serves as a borderline between clean and messed up aqeedah.

Im not really interested in the reasons behind this, and whether its allowed or not, but I find Ali :razi: written all over it quite disturbing.

Read your original post, all it said was ‘Kaaba in Karbala’, no offense brother, but from that your motive was to spread more ‘fisaad’ and mudslinging which we have in the religion forum.

There was no such picture on the actual article. The actual article was

You just posted a picture of the concert to make it sound like that concert was taking place in Pakistan. And yes, that other post where you pasted pictures of some prominent religious leader in Pakistan and Aishwarya Rai, trying to draw out some analogy was another attempt.

Islamabad bilkul sahee keh rahay hoo humein us cheez ko dekhna chahiyay kay kia khalat hai kia sahee hai and there is ali(r.a)
is written is not kuffer ....

I don’t want to swear by Allah, but yes I give you my word, it was the same picture i posted as on bbc. They changed it. Believe it or not!

I believe you yar, no need to swear.

Firstly to those who prejudged Shias as miffed and asked where the response was, not everyone visits all forums very frequently.

As for there being a replica of the Kaaba. So what?

For all the purposes of pictures of the kaaba on your computer in your homes, what are those for?

reverence? love? perhaps a desire to go there when possible?

Anyhow, heres a sunni replica I found, just so theres some perspective in the mind here, and before they throw the kafir word around as is their wont.

http://216.239.57.104/search?q=cache:HjsZG-FCdqsJ:www.china.org.cn/ChinaToday/Today/ChinaToday/ct98/ct98-9e-4.html++"Hui"+is+synonymous+with+Islam+and+the+9+million-strong+Hui+people&hl=en

IMO this (doing tawaf around the model) is at least as bad as having a model and expressing reverence to it. Atleast you dont see people doing that.. they seem to be treating it more like what it is.. an three dimensional model of the Kaaba.

Now, regarding the Ali written around the Kaaba, I agree, that is unfortunate. Unfortunate, because it is misleading to those who do not know the context.

Heres the context.. shias believe that Hazrat Ali was born in the Kaba. For that reason we attribute the gate in the Kaaba called baab e ali.

I believe we see that as indicative of the high rank of Hazrat Ali, and that after the Prophet's death, he was the leader of the Muslims. Since both sects have a tendency to give prominence to that which conflicts with the other, Im guessing thats why they wrote Ali on the kaba.

If you look at the video, you'll notice a gate in the kaaba with a light on it. I believe thats bab e ali.

At this point I cannot find specific shia references for this, but heres one sunni reference that I found:
Hakim [the ONLY recorder of the hadith thaqlain as "Quran and Sunnah"] in his Mustadrak and Nuru'd-din Bin Sabbagh Maliki in his Fusulu'l- Muhimma, Fasl I, p.14, say: "No one before Ali was born in the Ka'ba. This was a distinction given to Ali in order to enhance his honor, rank, and dignity."
but whether or not Hazrat Ali was born or not in the Kaaba, that is the reason for Hazrat Ali's name being written on it IMO, and not explanations that go along the lines that Hazrat Ali is god for shias.

I realise that the kookfest will continue after this. Just wanted a shia perspective in.

shia khomanie

Whats that?

^That's what I was gonna ask.
