K-P police prepare list of Afghan refugees allegedly involved in serious crimes

About time!

In other news, a Pakistani journalist is slapped with four years of imprisonment in Afghanistan for travelling without documents. Seriously? Now what does this mean - a clear case of* meri billi and mujhi ko woof woof,* right? We have nearly 2 million illegal Afghanis living in our country and 4000 of them (an absolutely massive figure) are allegedly involved in serious crimes (terrorism, murder etc). Well done for KP government for finally acknowledging the elephant in the room, and hopefully other parts of Pakistan (especially Karachi) would follow a similar suit. If you want to improve the security, law and order situation of the country, you’d have to target the problem from all directions.

I really hope that KPK doesn’t make the stupid mistake of putting these criminals in Pakistani jails. Our legal system is already overburdened and low on resources. Therefore, these Afghanis, once convicted, must be deported back to Afghanistan with permanent no entry bans clearly stated on their documents.
