There are unconfirmed reports that house where Zainab was kept is traced , that is very low class and near the place , where body of Zainab was found . Main accused is perhaps arrested but the police is confirming all from forensics . Very careful this time , even not caring of media hype & silence of opposition’s leadership confirming this. There is much conspiracy or big planning behind this all . some cheap illiterates perhaps .

i can but into this. yes our police is incompetent and corrupt to no end but when they are under pressure of supreme court and govt and if they get free hand, they have enough connections (mukhbars) in their thana hadoods to get the right criminal. but the key is if they are working without political pressure. so is shameless shabaz sharif now letting the police work free and keeping that ugly guy rana sana away? part of me is ok if police is taking its time as long as it is working on the case without any pressure so that they can get the right criminal or criminals.
plus 4 other agencies are involved too plus army pressure too. so chances that police can screw this case deliberately to save the criminal are minimal.

maybe i am too optimistic about our police for no reason. after-all they are part of corrupt rotten Pakistani system where nothing really works anymore and the general level of qualification has fallen down so much in last 25 years across the spectrum. case in point, pls read below copied from an article

the media is piece of crap. they will raise a issue for 72 hours and then will move on to something else. even if criminals get punished, the media never show that part as it does not get them ratings, so our masses can never learn any lessons

I am shocked to know that It hasn’t even been a fortnight since seven-year-old Zainab Ansari was raped and killed but Kasur is back to its ways: ten rupees will buy you all kinds of child pornography in the bazaars of Kasur. The bestiality involved in Zainab’s rape and murder now seems an afterthought; there are ample consumers of child pornography still around. WOW…they are selling child pornography videos in streets fir years and we then expect that kids will not be sexually exploited? state/police did nothing knowingly. I just wish such calamity hits shabaz sharif/rana sana family (and those police officers) to understand how callous their attitude has been.
and Again, it is not immune to qasur only. whole pakistan is in grip of child abuse to no end but no one talks about it…but yes, Qasoor case is even worst as it is a systematic sexual exploitation case.

That is really sad, and people on social media are bashing the dancing competition by Sahir, blaming west and everything else but the problems within the society. I know a friend who reported his colleague for having child porn on his hard-disk (or was it thumb drive) which he shared to transfer big-files and that guy was caught and punished, but in case of our society they are protected by the “law-makers”

The press conference of showbaaz was very very sad. They were laughing and clapping while sitting with father of zainab.
And that dg of forensic lab giving lecture about maths behind DNA test… was that all needed. Very shameful that rather than being shameful of not able to catch even after 8 girls … They were clapping

I wish they would’ve arrested those involved in child molestation case couple of years ago in Qusoor. Anyone remember that big news? Many MPAs probably MNAs also were said to be involved in child molestation yet, none could be arrested due to their influence. And, these are suppose to be the elected reps. of awaam.

Thankful for the arrest but if they don’t make changes to child protection then it would be a waste of so much energy, child molestation seems to be an epidemic with reports saying that close to 90 percent of street children are molested and a lot of stuff goes on in seminaries. They really need to spend a lot of resources to educate, train and protect. Also so sad that victims family had the suspect released when he was first arrested.
