Lets go back to the time of Prophet Moses and think we were one of those non-believers who followed Pharoh’s torture. Now think of a time when Prophet Moses came to that city to spread the name of Allah (s.w.t) and Pharoah challenges him to have a competition with the bestest magicians in the city. Ofcourse as we all know that those magicians instantly accepted the Oneness of Allah in the middle of the ground without any fear of Pharoah.

My Questions to you all:**
suppose you all are over there to watch the battle, would you have done the same thing as those magicians?
If yes, then why?
If No, then y not?
p.s hope no one take it personally. Its not lack of my knowledge instead I am just curious as how we all would have thought during that time. Would we be different than what we are today because most of us here are born with the name of Allah (s.w.t) subhanallah.
why go back so far, why not simply ask "will u chose to enjoy life forgetting Islam, or wud u put the worldly matters behind u and stick to what Allah and His Prophet (saw) have ordered?"....
we all can see clearly for ourselves....
how many times have we preferred the worldly things over the religion????
how many times have we missed a prayer for important business meetings, or thrown off the hijab and beard for fear of losing a job????
if we cannot stand against our own desires, cud we really have stood up against a tyrant like fir'awn????
NOTE: do we later in this thread see bush being compared to fir'awn????

What magicians did at that time is not clear, most probably they thought of him as a bigger magician or something else, whether they acepted his message then and there ? I dont know.
If i was in the crowd then i would be more impressed by his speach to pharaoh or the carisma, than the magic it self.
