but then again i was going to quit when we had children. The children aren't happening any time soon, so i'm still working, only cos i get bored at home.

I do too. Stopped "working" out of the house when I had my first son, and then went back to work when the twins entered KG...the days when one income would suffice are long gone, in my opinion, at least in the US. Unless one spouse is a gazillionaire. :-)

I do too......
Pretty much same reason as KS09...I'd get pretty bored not working.....
Have to admit there are days though when I envy my friends & family who don't have the worry of going to work...but that soon goes away!!!!

I do. However, once we have kids...I will become stay-at-home mom. When the kids start school....at that time probably will look into a part-time job or some type of volunterring position to keep me from getting bored.

My mom worked full-time before and after I was born. When my 2nd sibling was born (almost 10 years after me)....that's when she left her career.
