This is in Mijas a village in Málaga (Andalucia). Is something tipical to ride donkeys there. My boyfriend is pakistani and he says that it is also tipical thing in villages in Pakistan. We had lot of fun!

There could be too many reasons I can understand, but you can prove him wrong by learning some good cultural Pakistani things specially from the place he is from, you can cook some Pakistani dishes for him learning from here, wear Pakistani dresses for him, can learn local good-slang to amuse him!
