So after reading soo many posts about rosehip oil + witch hazel all originally recommended by stoppits, I finally ordered some for myself on Monday and have just received my order today
I’m suuuuperr excited about trying these products and cannot wait to see what results I will achieve.
Just an insight into my current skin condition: I have normal/combo skin and for the past few months have developed horrible pregnancy related hormonal acne
So i’ve been looking into a skincare routine which is natural and safe to use in pregnancy. Tbh, i’ve never really had a cleansing routine as such, i’ve just used soap and water and a nutreagena face wash.
So I have ordered myself the following:
■ bioderma makeup remover (fantastic product as it really does remove every trace of makeup)
■ cetaphil sensitive face wash/cleanser
■ witch hazel to tone my face
■ rosehip oil - will be using it as a treatment serum
■ I’ve also ordered the clarisonic mia2 for deep cleansing my skin. I am still waiting for this to arrive.
So that will be my new skincare routine, which I really hope will work to help sort my skin out
I am also considering of purchasing the PMD to exfoliate my skin and to help reduce the scarring left by spots that are clearing, but I will see how i go with this routine first.
So I will keep you guys posted on how I get on. If any of you have used any of the above products, then please do let me know how you’ve all got on pleeease.
So I thought i'd post an update on how I am getting on with my skincare regimen/products...
So after a week I can honestly say that my skin is already looking soooo much better mash'allah :). My skin definitely seems to look brighter and healthier and cleeeean mash'allah :)
I am so soooo happy as my skin looked horrible, conjested and just dull.
Im loving the witch hazel toner and also the rosehip oil too mash'allah, and i feel that they are deffo playing a big part in the improvement.
I am also LOOOOVING the clarisonic mia 2! Like omg, it leaves my skin squeeeeky clean, and the rosehip oil sinks in to my skin soooooo much better and quicker. I havent been using it twice a day and everyday, as is recommended, as ive heard a lot of ppl complaining about it being too harsh for everyday use, which i totally agree with. I only use it on the days that I am wearinh makeup to deeply cleanse my skin.
Another product that i have been loving is the BIODERMA cleanser/makeup remover. This totally removes EVERY bit of makeup, and when i use my clarisonic after, there is no makeup residue on the brush at all. So i will deffo be purchasing this again and again.
Sorry for the looooong post lols, but I really wanted to update you all just incase somebody else might be suffering from problem skin like i have been.
