i never really got the purpose , are engagements done to get to know the person better or are there done with the intention of thats it we are getting married now? do people break engagements on idk because one day they realise the person does not look enough , or dont like their lifestyle etc
or does an engagement usually mean you have pretty much decided this is it, unless there are major differences in thinking etc?
