Op, there are other jobs that are equally if not more stressful…some where one may have to travel a lot or live away from family…others where one puts their life at risk. You don’t want to marry a doctor, by all means don’t. That doesn’t mean that all of those people are not sincerely dedicated to their field or that they and their partners can’t make their marriage work.

its not about what i want, it is the general desire i have witnessed among mothers. and if you don’t like any thread by all means skip it.
