Ok..i been to a church and and gurduwara to attend lectures/funerals etc…can a non muslim enter a mosque just to observe what happens inside one or to attend a lecture? Or does he have to become a muslim first to enter a mosque?
yes they can.
nope they dont have to be muslim
I think they can.
They sure can. :k:
i have seen many non-muslims visiting mosqes just for seeing, also some for lectures and some just curious....
ok thanks people for all ur replies :D
i took this m8 to a lecture at coopers mosque in toronto.... this person is a hindu and learning about islam slowly. This person surely believes in one god, and the akhirat.
"If one amongst the idolaters asks you for asylum, grant it to him, so that he may hear the word of Allah; and then escort him to where he can be secure." (Qur'an 9:6)

Are you sure you are using the verse in the exact context. Secontly I've a non muslim friend. He wanted to visit the mosque and I wanted him to take him along with me. But another muslim friend of mine told me that it is forbiddent to take the non Muslims to the mosque.
A non-muslim is allowed to enter a Masjid as long he is in a CLEAN state and that he will not cause any harm to the Masjid.
