But this will give a different result based on when you run this test. During peak hours, even a 1.5mbps DSL connection will show something around 500kbps. Try running it 3-4 times in a row, and u will get different results everytime.

sorry to say, but those who are getting more than 1.5MB connection speeds, need to do it again. The measuring technology isnt very reliable until you have a sustained connection. Sometimes the cache servers play their part. Burst speeds dont count either. :))
