You have to know what you belive in as a muslim, and that belief is the top most priority of your life. So anyone trying to even tell you anything different, then you should have the guts to just say ‘NO’ !!
nothing wrong with taking the book tho, I mean if you have good knowledge of Islam, next you see them you can start a discussion with them and point out the weaknesses you found after reading that book, in the light of Islamic teachings.

Preach them Islam, not just to make them go away. But as our religious duty as it is. And if you do it right, you might even convince them. Thats what we also used to do, and then they stopped coming

shut up you. The bible wasnt shoved down my throat, the point of my thread was that I was TOO POLITE to say NO … **NOT to the religion or to the man who was preaching christianity…coz he wasnt - he just offered it and I took it… !!! ** 
im not interested in Christianity - my islam is enough for me.
