I am assuming most housewives who haven’t always worked while not having kids and even some SAHMs too? can relate to this…that just because you dont’ have a job, you have unlimited time to ____ (fill in the blank). be it to socialize, to cook 8 course meals, run around doing errands for so and so or doing favors for others etc.
How do you deal with ppl like that?

you tell them, just coz i don't have a job doesn't mean i'm free for blahblahblah.

You don't deal with them. Don't pick up your phone. Don't respond to Facebook messages or emails. When you connect with them later, just tell them you were busy.

Unfortunately, no matter what you do some people will always think you are faarigh as long as you have no job or school. I would just tell 'em off..

unfortunately you can not change every single of them so ignore or tell them even though you dont have a job, that does not mean you are farigh.
Just like many begums thinks that hubby do aaram at work unless he has a job of digging well.

it's not the easiest thing to do especially if it's a relative i'm in the same situation right now.............sometimes i just don't answer the phone and since we don't have a house phone i can always blame it on the poor cell reception for not answering lol.............if it gets too much the only thing you can do is talk to them about how you feel might not be an easy conversation to have but its better than having that person get annoying after a while :)

You read my mind. I'm having the same problem nowadays.
My siblings leave their chores half done because they think I'll just pick the slack since I'm home now.
Friends expect me to see them EVERY week. Some aren't that understanding.
I still have job search, run errands for the house etc., each application/cover letter takes so damn long.
