Sub jaldi si go and buy lots of packs of dates before Ramadan starts … coz as soon as Ramadan starts the stores will strike up the prices for two things : Dates and Baisan :naraz:

Prices have already gone up our end-including price of chicken/meat/corriander/tinned produce.

we have dates from quite a long period and they have turned hard because they have been kept in fridge for too long. But otherwise they are fine.

CB the asda where i am has been selling 2KG besan for £1.50 which is cheaper than the desi stores :D

My local desi shop reduces the price of ramadan staples so it must just depend on where you live.
