What does Kher means?
I wished Eid mubarak to a friend and he replied Kher Mubarak! :confused:

The root word "kher" has come from the Arabic into Urdu... the meaning of which is almost same in both of the languages...

Kher/khair essentially means something that causes good result...

I typically hear punjabi's saying "khair mubarak" ....I dont usually hear urdu speaking people saying it that way....

i could be wrong though.
