If you are talking foam or a vaginal spermicidal suppository, yes they do kill sperm, but they are not as effective as a condom. I think it is 70% effective which means a 30% chance of getting pregnant. Condoms are 98% effective.

well, they have a warning that these tablets will reduce the effectiveness of latex condoms so I doubt that they inhibit pregnancy.
I do want to say though that because of the warning against using during first trimester, I wouldn’t recommend trying to get pregnant as you use them.

I had heard that sperm kills sperm (just like diamond cuts diamond), so instead of having your hopes high on a tablet (that you have no clue what it does or how it is taken ie from mouth or other openings), I would suggest changing your partner.
P.S they have excellent abortion clinics in Texas or any southern baptist state.
