It is def. a weird comment to pass of twice .. I can imagine he was trying to be "polite" or something and said it the first time, but second time? .. Tell me how does your friend look compared to the bhabhi?.. I would be careful marrying a dude like this .. Does he comment on other gal too, ya sirf bhabhi ka deewana hai?

I GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your friend should invite this guy to her home....I dunno for lunch or whatever. And then she should arrange it so that the BHABI would be coming in (to serve refreshements, set the table, etc)....and your friend should disappear and watch their interactions. She can hide behind a door, a wall, a sofa, a frickin tree.....and just observe his behavior toward the bhabi. Binoculars might be necessary. Or she can install a video camera.

I don't understand why we never hear of anyobody having tried secretly videotaping their toxic in-laws...as evidence to show an unbelieving spouse, etc. WHY???? Seeing is believing!

How does the famous BHABI herself feel about the guy and his twice-paid compliments?

This is a silly issue to get so worked up over. If your friend cannot let this go...if it bothers her THAT much (which seems like it).....then forget about this rishta. Instead of marrying this guy and having a grudge for the rest of her life toward him, toward the bhabi, and doubt his every action/intention. That's too much of a headache to bear......only for the reason that "bhai us ki family bahut shaandaar hai."
