My cousin went to this Junoon concert in Karachi AMI and he had pretty interesting story to tell. Ali azmat publicly slapped and pushed junoon’s tabla nawaz and Salman and Ali had a aggressive argument on stage. Ali azmat was seemingly drunk and Salman had to scold him publicly. Hmmm so it means that Junoon’s infight stories are not that baseless either. Interesting..

saby, thats BS, the entire concert video is online, let me know if you want to watch it. Ali put up quite a show there. Thousands of people attended the concert, and no such thing happened or it would have been out on Junoon forums. The entire Junoon.com admin team, who Im always in touch with were there too. As for their concerts in the US, Im always there, and Ive never seen these so called ‘fights’ on stage 
I talk to Salman all the time, and he laughes whenever I tell him about such rumours. He said that ‘pappu yar’ song was made exclusively for such rumour spreading ppl.

Like I said, those 8 year old kids and women in Sari’s can get quite violent in the moshpit, wouldn’t you say so Spocky? What about the kids in the strollers??

Fine, youve seen a metallica/iron maiden concert in Canada but nobody here compares em or says their moshing is as good as theirs. We are discussing Junoon. Spocky, all I said was that “moshing” was funny at a Junoon concert (which it is), and you’re the one that created the comparisons (care to quote me where I have compared bands here??) between bands, and you’re the one that brought up “Canada” (as usual, since you’re such a glutton for punishment). However, you’re too much of an idiot to understand fundamental english, you’re even too much of a numbskull to know what you’re typing in your own posts, so as a result you lost track of the topic at hand, since you get too excited and try too hard to “insult me” because of the embarrasment you received the last time you confronted me, rather than focusing on the topic.

Secondly, there is no moshing at Junoon concerts, so get that in your head before you continue to make a complete fool out of yourself by saying so. Quote me where I said there is moshing at Metallica? In fact there is no moshing at Metallica shows of today, since they’re nothing more than a pop band nowdays.

Have you even seen one? Buddy, Im a promotor for Junoon, and Ive arranged several concerts for them (ure new to SS, so you probably missed the threads). The first thing their contract now states is that they want an open area infront of the stage just for moshing. If you want, Ive got tonnes of pictures from the concerts.

Firstly, I’m not new to SS. Secondly being a gopher for Junoon doesn’t mean you know what you’re talking about, because quite frankly, you don’t.
Have you ever seen a mosh pit? I didn’t think so. If you think you’ve seen one at a Junoon concert, you are quite entertaining. Junoon is not the type of music for “moshing”, neither is most of the metal bands these days. If you’ve ever seen an agressive show in the past during the “glory years” of “moshing” you’d realize that moshing at a Junoon show is pretty much like a kid’s fight at a daycare. Pictures of little kids and women with strollers won’t convince me.
Personally, moshing is quite stupid, regardless of the style of music. But moshing at Junoon is just laughable.
^ Thats your opinion… You should check out the crowd during their concerts, they go wild, trust me on that one. Youre stuck with the central park concert That was an old concert, when their tours were in infancy. Goto their concerts now, you will eat your words. You might think moshing is stupid, thats a matter of opinion though.
As for other junoon fans, after our successfull Strings and Junoon concerts, we are brining them to Detroit, Chicago and Ann Arbor in the coming months!
Not opinion, I speak from experience. I’ve been to over 150 concerts in my lifetime, from the mid 80’s to present time. You speak of people going wild at a Junoon concert in the presence of 8 year old kids and women pushing strollers? I’m talking about people actually getting literally killed at shows in mosh pits. Slayer, 1988, South Of Heaven World Tour, arena show. If you’ve ever seen a hockey arena, then you’d know how big it is, and if you’ve ever heard of “Slayer”, then you’d know how agressive their music is. There was violent moshing at every square foot of that arena floor. So violent, that one peron was actually killed, and about 20 others were in the hospital. It wasn’t unusual to see blood at a Slayer moshpit. Riot police were not uncommon because of the pure agression of Slayer concert’s and their infamous mosh pits. The band had to continue to urge the fans to help each other out during the show, that if they see someone going down to help em out so people wouldn’t get hurt.
You can see why I think moshpits are stupid (real moshpits, not a daycare argument, like at a junoon show). So don’t tell me about mosh pits at a Junoon concert, because anyone who’s been to an agressive show will laugh at you.
I have no idea what Central Park show you’re talking about. I"m only referring to the article you posted. Spock, you wouldn’t survive at some of the show’s that I’ve been to.
