Its not fair to listeners to shell out money for a whole album, when they are getting no more than one or two new pieces.

Akif, the album was pretty cheap... Just Rs.90 ($1.5)
I think thats a fair price for an album that contains old songs, and all these songs are the remix versions...
The last album ishq was Rs.130 I believe...
Spock…
The money factor is not that huge for the buyer. Its the band that profits from it. The buyers can get it for Rs 90, but the fact is, Junoon has already benefited once from their performance (since there are 6 or seven live songs in the album). Now to record those live shows, and sell them as tapes is like profiting with both hands, if you know what I mean. Its a tad bit unethical.

I didnt buy the album. I simply had to read the contents in order to make that decision. Its unfair, dont u think?
You got a valid point here Akif...
They also launched a VCD, 'United For Peace' which had a concert that they recorded in Islamabad College for Girls, and was also telecast on PTV... It cost Rs.100, but was like $15 for those living abroad.
