First of all, where does it say it was junoon? It might be them but then again, why would they be nervous? I mean its unlike them, they are frequent travellers and have been to the US so many times...

And besides that Junoon cant be going to the West coast as the have a concert in NYC this week! Why would the take a flight to LA as they had a concert in Boston and then come to NYC! Doesnt make sense!

This is absolutely false. 1)We are only 8 people travelling on this tour. 2) Of those 8, only 2 are Pakistanis! 5 Americans, and 1 UK national. I don't think this story has ANY basis in fact, but because they don't any details about the names of the group, it makes me really wonder why its so fishy. I categorically state that nothing of the sort happened with Junoon.
Also haven't even BEEN to Dulles yet! You know the dates Atlanta, Toronto, Boston, New York, and tonight Seattle!
Guess what! This story has even appeared in the Washington Post! Somebody get me a number to refute this garbage. We should get to the bottom of this and find out the veracity of such an event even happening!
My friends chacha happens to be Maj. General Rashid Qureshi, if youre in Pakistan you would know that hes a pretty influential guy and head of the ISPR and spokesman to the Chief... He went to the US on an official tour a few days back and they asked him to remove his shoes!!! now think about it, a respected top brass military official of pakistan, asked to remove his shoes!!! This appeared in the newspapers too! Gen. Qureshi was very annoyed.
Not knowing one way or the other, I wouldn't comment on Junoon incident.
But this Rashid Qureshi dude, needs to travel with little less chips on his shoulders. Anyone maybe asked to remove the shoes and they do it without annoyance. This is standard procedure now a days. Maybe Qureshi saheb didn't read newspapers or maybe the newspapers which publish his spokesmanship do not cover happenings in USA.
Nothing like this happened, Junoon was in New York at that time and their concert in New York is going to be attended by Un officials and Ambassadors.
