June 2007: Will be a decisive month for Pakistan.

Re: June 2007: Will be a decisive month for Pakistan.

question is will we see a mini-pakistan here on GS, whenever BB makes the deal with Mushi and they're bosom buddies after bashing each other for ages, will the fans/political workers of both on this site do the same? we've already seen MQM's supposedly anti-military people and the army people make the same points and hold hands, will we see PPP supporters and establishment supporters start glossing over each other's faults soon too?

Re: June 2007: Will be a decisive month for Pakistan.

So we are all hypocrite! NS made a lot of noise about IK during 1997 elections, now they are joining hands.

Re: June 2007: Will be a decisive month for Pakistan.

no, I'd prefer the pronoun "they" instead of we, whether it is the political leaders or their die-hard, come-what-may fans.

Re: June 2007: Will be a decisive month for Pakistan.

In an unprecedented visit three top men from America arrive for a week long jaunt in Pakistan, and spend all their time falling over each other in praise and support of President-General Pervez Musharraf - much to the consternation of the opposition parties.

While at the same time Benazir puts Nawaz Sharif into her purse, and declares that she will PM for 5 years, and then maybe he can after that. That had his party doing somersaults.

June has indeed been a very important month in defining the future course of Pakistan’s governance. :jhanda:

Well 20 days has now passed. Let’s see if his hope turns to reality in the next 9-10 days? Doubt it, considering the PPP and JUI-F are busy cosying upto the govt to get slots in the pre-election interim setup.](“http://www.dawn.com/weekly/ayaz/ayaz.htm”)
