Among all the Pakistani artists he is among my absolute favourites.
I don't really know whether he is in Tableegi Jamaat or not (there are contradicting statements about that) and to be very honest, I don't really care about that. I just hope, that he does continue his work, because the fact remains that he is responsible for some absolutely wicked songs.
