The chap is a total crook. He does sing well and I still do enjoy his pop (or haraam???) songs, granted. But after seeing his contradictory interviews, I don’t fall for his mullah-baazi trap. Should I be stoned to death??? Or am I a certified jahannumi, perhaps???

Calm down. Speak from facts and not from some interviews. Don’t even take Ek Din Geo k sath seriously, that program is a joke. I have not seen Sony interview nor Cell 224 (ARY) but what you say is totally uncalled for.

agree with Tanvir S. why the avtar?? …JJ, Junaid Sheikh and even all our cricket team… they can be naik and all… and recite Naats and Hamds… **but why such a horrifying avtar!! … it just sends out such a bad messsage!! … they have to spread the good word… it can be spread in jeans or normal look and accent. **… a look and accent the common person understand and relate to. … especially the younger generation who was brought up listening to him or watching them play.

He had his clothing business running for at least a few years when he decided to turn to mullah-giri. So why that jerk had to do all the drama of having not even Rs. 100 at home and to downsize and all that crap? And where did his savings go from his oh-so-haraam business of pop singing?

I feel sorry for the people who fall prey to these sanctimonious jerks. I would have had respect for him if he had not stooped to cheap tactics to gain audience and fans for his Islamic turnabout.

Again, maybe just maybe listen to his talks he has given about changing his life. The haram kamai he had no haq on, he HAD to spent it.

Imagine, leaving all popularity, money, showbiz..etc just like that! How big of a sacrifice is it? Can you sacrifice whatever little you have to serve the deen of ALLAH? JJ sacrificed his whole life.
