Junaid Jamshed should be

Re: Junaid Jamshed should be

I heard JJ when he made that comment on ARY. What he said was let's look for help within Pakistan first before we go outside asking. I guess it was a pre-mature comment as he may not have known the extent of the damage. He should come out and correct himself. But then again, I don't care what JJ says. He is only an entertainer for me. What pisses me off is when political leaders like Qazi make stupid and selfish comments.

Re: Junaid Jamshed should be

Don’t even waste your precious time on making such statements, Qazi is much much beyond it.

Re: Junaid Jamshed should be

Who the &^% is Junaid Jamshed anyway? Seriously. If he were to talk about music or engineering I'd listen to his "opinion" as that's what he knows best. But just because you have given up your lifestyle, have grown beard, and have become religious FOR YOUR OWN sense of spirituality DOES NOT make you authority on morality or ethics or spirituality for that matter you #$%%^%^ ch**.

I'm sick of this guy's godly decrees of what's wrong and what's not and codemn everything that does not align with his newly adopted lifestyle. ullu ka patha.

On the other hand, bozos at the media companies need to stop airing/printing his opinions to begin with.

Re: Junaid Jamshed should be

In the large scheme of things his comments are irrelevant & so is he. Talk is cheap and lot of people are talking. Media are driven by sensationlism and can’t be blamed.

Re: Junaid Jamshed should be

Qazi should go and drown himself in his own pee pee. I think we should send back the Kafirs from France and tell the parents of these five rescued kids hey we are going to slaughter them because kafirs got them out. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/south_asia/4329494.stm

Re: Junaid Jamshed should be

Mistakes can be made by anyone; for the first 24 hrs or so everyone was under the impression that the loss of life would be around 1000-1500 and no one knew how much damage there had been as most areas were inaccessible. At that time Junaid Jamshed may have said that we didnt need to grab onto foreign aid from India/US (without confirming if we even needed it at that time) keeping in view the touchy sentiments attached (as also mentioned by Gen Mush in an interview to CNN on Sat eve).
Yesterday Junaid Jamshed and his infant NGO were operating in Muazaffarabad and Balakot alongside foreign teams and the military. He's hopefully no way as rigid as Qazi.

On the other hand, Qazi's illusions will drown him. can he dare ask the army to go and do what it is supposed to do i.e. man the borders now? Did he and his likes ever leave the civil depts and defense/rescue depts strong enough to handle this chaos...? same goes for every dept, and why thea army takes over. they simply not just do it best, they are the only ones who can.

Re: Junaid Jamshed should be

If Qazi has such an attitude, then I wonder why his kids got an education in Canada for. I tell yaa these people utter nothing but nonsense.

Re: Junaid Jamshed should be

You know what Qazi should do? He should form a million march and go dig those buildings with half million and have other half million to start sewing blankets and preparing food for survivers.

Re: Junaid Jamshed should be

Bad-mouthing JJ and Qazi (although I've got no idea who he is) won't do us any good. We should continue offering assistance to the best of our ability and continue making duaa for the affected.

Re: Junaid Jamshed should be

everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion. lynching and asking for their heads simply bcoz they don't bow down to your opinions is not the civilized way. yes they are 3rd world morons, uncivilized and barbarics, u should not low urself to their level then. their is only an insiginifant voice and opinion which won't affect anyone. those who are in need of help will get help anyways. so just move on with your life and let them be.

Re: Junaid Jamshed should be

Here is my opinion about this: Shoot Qazi in the middle of a street and hang his body to some electric poll.
Since I remember, this guy has always done things against the majority. All he wants is cheap promotion.

Re: Junaid Jamshed should be

^
so to say or do things [whether right/wrong] against majority is a crime worth death only?

no wonder shias, ahmadis etc get killed like dogs everyday. they all deserve it no matter how right/wrong they were. neh! :k:

PS: with this kind of mentality, no wonder muslims are in trouble in every country and contribute largly towards terrorism.

Re: Junaid Jamshed should be

It just really amazes me the violent and sometimes idiotic reactions people have in regards to those who are religious and have beards...I just chalk it up to good training material by the media...Distrust everyone religious with a beard...And I understand it too...It's through no fault of their own...

In the presence of a very strong influence like the western media, minds have little but to act as they have been trained...

In the 90s the Rangers were mercilessly unleashed upon the hapless populace of Karachi by the PPP...They killed thousands in torture chambers and fake encounters...Today if, Allah forbid, a calamity struck Karachi and these Rangers were once again deployed, do you think their animosity would be less? They would probably ask for a life in exchange for a bag of rice...

The army's incursion into the NWFP areas with masssive casualties already been afflicted by them, they would surely not be a welcome sight...But this is just my assumption...

However Benazir came and burned Pakistan, yet I never heard the kind of comments I am seeing in this thread...In fact she is still very much in politics and so is her husband, who has a proven track record of infamy and notoriety...

Sharif came and raped the country, yet no outcry...In fact, he was given a gracious exile...

But god forbid, should someone with a beard have the audacity to even dare to form an opinion and we are ready to rip, slice and quarter them to pieces...And that's only after we agree to their opinion...

I have seen such violent tendencies only in the very confused and illiterate, because they lack the faculty of either proper response or proper recourse...

Granted the Qazi sahib said something you guys don't agree with but please...Either put up a good argument against it in legible terms or shut up...Degrading an old man for what is his opinion neither suits the educated nor a Muslim...

Re: Junaid Jamshed should be

^ I agree with you....the kind of words mentioned above are derrogatory....Qazi Hussain Ahmed may not have understood the amount of damage with this earthquake...but calling him names & claiming to shoot him is a third class tactic in itself...

he is a noble religious personality....the politics of whom you may not agree with & this is your right too...

Lastly Lajawaab....i don't know why bearded guys always seem religious to you???You can be as religious without beard ....so i don't see any requirement of mentioning beard as a sign of religioushood in every thread of yours...

Re: Junaid Jamshed should be

i’ve seen two distinctive things since the earthquake. this thread shows that terrorist mentality exists in almost every muslim. look at the onces demanding the head of qazi. he is entitled to his opinion, but NO, he went against the majority [where is the majority BTW?] so he should be shot like a dog. difference of opinion should always be accept as that nothing else. but apparently majority-rules is wht these ppl have engraved in their minds. i’ll repeat my earlier comment about the killings of ahmadis and shias.

2nd about religious aspect. people are saying they’ll move away from religion bcos of such events. they’ll lose patience and heart. how come we cannot be the same towards those who have been suffering for decades. they too have lost loved ones and they too have lost patience and heart and are now fighting for the loved ones who are alive. case in point, palestine, kashmir, kosovo, etc. how come we don’t feel the same pain for these people? yes in this case, u can move away from religion but surely u can’t kill god. all u can do is curse him. but whatever is in man’s hand. he’ll do it no matter how extreme it is. sure i’m not the who have lost anyone in the disaster nor i can feel the real pain of these people. same goes for those who have suffered and are still suffering through the hands of other humans.

Re: Junaid Jamshed should be

well its not him, every bearded guy is treated as a fanatic-mullah by the users on this forum and in general [case in point, antiobl]. post a picture of a bearded guy in image forum and then see the responses.

Re: Junaid Jamshed should be

You underestimate the power of the media on minds Jack…

It’s not one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter…

You should be trained to say: A Muslim fighting for his or another one’s life is a terrorist while anyone else is fighting for their rights…

As long as you remember this, you are part of the majority and the wise and enlightened crowd…

Re: Junaid Jamshed should be

Well i didn’t say what you responded to…i m just saying that, you can be religious without beard…& a bearded religious guy is a very esteemed personality too…lastly who cares if someone goes after bearded guys…if someone follows all goods of islam then he is a very esteemed person…but obviously you may disagree with his political views…similarly the other things are pretty useless to me…beard/non-beard,jeans/shalwar kameez etc etc…

Re: Junaid Jamshed should be

Well majority respect the religious ulamaa & imams…& majority can disagree with their certain political views…this is what one should be mentioning here…shooting a religious pious person is a bizarre/derrogatory statement & shows an immature mind who doesn’t understand the physiology of Pakistani society…

Re: Junaid Jamshed should be

how will you determine whether person is following all goods of islam. do u have an islamometere to measure the strength and rightness of ones religion? are’nt we the civilized ones who always say religion is between a man and God. who r we to judge? then at the same person, we are more like pick-and-chose kind of muslims. we’ll approve the imam if he’ll talk about my issues and my safety without ever mentioning the sufferings and plights of others. i once read in a BBC report [by a muslim reporter] that in 2003 ramadan, he went to many mosques during juma speeches and wht struck him the most was the fact that not a single imam mentioned anything abt out iraq & afghanistan as if their sufferings and killings are not even worth enough mentioning. we want these kinds of imams in our mosques. those who talk about other muslims suffering are just spreading hatred and terrorism. my own convenience comes ahead of everyone. thats the level of islam we have in our hearts now.
