I dont live in Pakistan but i am getting Married in Karachi in July. My mom wants it outdoors in her huge garden. However, I am worried we will be sweating barrels. How is the climate during night in defence for an outdoor wedding. Can there be AC’s arranged? Do the AC’s even help? PLEASE ANY INPUT IS APPRECIATED. Date is July 24th.
Iam having a July wedding as well! in Islamabad though. Iam really worried about the climate as well but Iam sure if it's held at night then temperatures tend to drop so it's not too bad. It also depends on how many people you fit into your garden. If there are alot of people in close proximity to each other then it might get a little stuffy.
However, I would probably definitely get fans or AC's :)
i m having a june wedding in lahore...and lahore gets MUCH MUCh hotter thn karachi...i m really worried abt it too. Tent weddings are so much nicer but frm what i have been hearing...its not a good option (atleast for lahore) i was told that the ACed tent dont stay cool...so i m stuck with a indoor wedding :(
i had a july wedding.
its very very very hot in pakistan.
either do it indoors, or with airconditioned, fully enclosed tents-- although when you look at the cost of the tents, you might just go with the halls instead.
Well ur gonna be sweating 22222 much unless u hav ur own little AC or Fan right next to you. However when it was my auntys wedding in pakistan 2006. It was none stop rain… infact it was so heavy it flooded. and all that hard work of straightning my hair went back to frizzy curls!! arrgh:naraz:
However that was quite a long time ago! U shud be fine. IF you get a tent you shud get loads of fans and AC’s inside.
Good luckkk!!
iam havin my wedding in july too. in karachi..
n i heard not only is it HOT but it RAINS too..
so if its an outdoor wedding.. get waterproof tents... and get it aircondiontioned...
da ppl dere can arrange that..
i really wanted my wedding to be outdoors. because they make a great ambience and are alot more spacious.
but since am gonna have my wedding by end of Sept, it's still going to be scorching hot in Lahore then :( soo my parents are all bent on booking a hall for barat's reception.
and with all the awful loadshedding in lahore during summers, you can imagine the mint of money it would cost you to arrange for ACs as well as generators. it's much better to go for indoors.
esp June/July has unpredictable monsoon winds around. so you never know when it might rain !
I am getting married in July in Lahore as well. I want my mehndi to be outdoors but everyones been telling me that its hot, humid and it rains. Outdoors is a NO NO :(
