JUIF is not after any other ministry. They ONLY want religious ministry. They want to be the so-called “Islam ke thaykaydar”.
The reason JUIF always remained with PPP was that they could get their favorite ministry. And now the only reason they left government is because PPP is not giving it to them. They did not leave the government just because Swati was sacked.
JUIF was relying a lot in creating all this hue and cry about corruption in Hajj with Saudi help (as if it never happened before), but even when PPP removed Kazmi it still did not give the religious ministry to JUIF.
Now JUIF has come out openly. It is demanding what it always had in its mind. Its condition to join government is to be given the religious ministry.

ISLAMABAD, Dec 15: Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-F is learnt to have sought the ministry of religious affairs, in addition to those it had before quitting the ruling coalition, to rejoin the government.
Although efforts made by the ruling Pakistan Peoples Party to win back support of the JUI-F apparently remained futile, the partys chief, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, showed some flexibility in burying the differences with the PPP provided the demands of his party are met. Dawn
Sources in the Presidency told on Wednesday that during his meeting with Labour Minister Khurshid Ahmed Shah, the JUI-I chief had sought the ministry of religious affairs, along with the ministry of science and technology which the party had lost after the prime minister sacked its minister Azam Khan Swati.
Two other ministries JUI-F had before leaving the government were those of housing and tourism.
