At 15-years old, this boy is past puberty and thus clearly accountable for his own sins. I hope he’s receiving something suitable right now for murdering innocent madrassah students in this way, as well as for killing himself.
Six killed in Pishin suicide attack
QUETTA: Six people were killed and several others, mostly students, sustained injuries in a suicide attack on a Madrassa in Kili Karbala in the Pishin district on Monday.
According to reports reaching here, JUI-F provincial Amir Maulana Muhammad Khan Shirani, Balochistan Assembly Deputy Speaker Syed Matiullah Agha and provincial ministers belonging to the party were attending a ceremony at the Madrassa when a 15-year-old boy blew himself up in front of the stage. However, all the JUI-F leadership escaped unhurt. The police and the law-enforcement agencies retrieved the bodies and shifted the injured to the District Headquarters Hospital, Pishin, and the Civil Hospital, Quetta. Most of the injured succumbed to their injuries on their way to hospitals.
Five of the dead were identified as Qari Muhammad Nasim, Qari Jalal, Syed Bismillah, Haji Nizamuddin and Abdul Qahar while names of other persons could not be ascertained. The police and the law-enforcement agencies cordoned off the area and the bomb disposal squad collected evidence from the site to ascertain the type of explosives used in the blast.
Meanwhile, speaking at a press conference at the Press Club here, JUI-F leader and Senior Provincial Minister for Planning and Development Maulana Abdul Wasey gave a strike call for Tuesday throughout the province. He accused anti-Islam forces of carrying out the dastardly act.
Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Hyderi, however, claimed that two suspects had been arrested in connection with the Pishin suicide attack.APP adds: President Asif Ali Zardari has strongly condemned the suicide blast at a Madrassa in Pishin district. In a message, he expressed his grief and shock over the loss of lives and injuries caused by the tragic happening.
He reiterated that such cowardly acts would not dent the government’s resolve to fight terrorism and extremism in all its forms and manifestations.The president directed the provincial government to take all measures to reach the culprits behind this terrorist act and take them to task. He also asked the provincial government to ensure the provision of best medical care to the injured.
He conveyed his condolences to the family members of the victims. The president prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved families.
