Jug Jug jeevay mera piyara watan :jhanda:

Most of us have heard this milli nagma. What does this Jug mean?

I was listening to this ghazal by Sauda by Abida Parveen and she sung the line:

Vey Suraty Ilahi Kis Des Bastian Hayn Abida Parveen …
Qeemat main un ki go ham, do jug to dey chuke hein
Os yaar ki nigaahein, iss par bhi sasteeyan hein

Jug = jeem with pesh like in jug jug jeewe

I thought Abida Parveen pronounced it wrong and it should have been jag (jeem per zabar)

Jag = Dunya
Jug = Hameesha, always, dor, zaman, ehad...
isko peeRhi, pusht, aur muddat bhi kaha jata hia...

I will watch video and tell you more...

Toba. I hope that those were aluminum jugs and not cheap plastic ones
