Judiciary, suchh an important branch of govt but seeing the recent drama its clear that it was not a ullu who have been sitting here for years but the woody wood pecker who have chopped down the branch to barely a stick hanging there.

The constitution of Pakistan clearly states as to why elections need to be held within the ninety day time frame. The ruling pdm used all the tactics it could muster up in their powers to delay them for a good 6 months, only for the supreme court to chime in and teach the illiterates a valuable lesson. No going against the rule of law, neither the constitution. Not sure who you refer to as the personally liked one here
Today I came across news of a US Supreme Court Judge, whom Democrats are demanding removal of, after an investigative news report. If he gets removed, then the question arises if the judgements given by him will be declared null and void as well. Here is the Bandiyal of US Supreme Court:

Right, so the supreme court functioning on a midnight for some reason makes it more credible, and not be susceptible to wrongdoings? People accepted their decision back then, why be so afraid of it now?

I strongly believe that whenever we evaluate a judicial processing or decision, we have to be impartial to understand everyone's POV and consider the judges' verdicts based on pure merits. If you are already biased then your opinion will be as one-sided as umm.. these recent decisions.
If you are celebrating Bandiyal's decisions and remarks and declaring it as the "court's win", remember after Oct there'll be another judge and then make sure you dont switch and turn whatever you are saying now about Supreme Court's higher status. Same goes for those rooting to bulldoze SC.
Its very unfortunate that all the judges in recent past have some political affiliation and that has killed the real meaning of justice. And I blame Ch. Iftikhar Choudhry for starting this political movememt within the ranks of so-called "honorable" judges
John Roberts has refused a democratic request to appear in Congress. The only option is to impeach him or Clarence Thomas which might not be possible.
You clearly don’t know law or US law for that matter. Precedents don’t vacate themselves in cases unless the court itself revisits those cases and makes new rulings.
I’d be the first to criticize Imran’s wrongdoings as I have gone in the past but he is 100% right here. The government may try to wiggle some loophole for general election but they definitely have to hold elections in Punjab and KP. It is shameful though the politicians have no shame that vote ko izzat do is using fake cases to put Imran khan behind bars. Imran has the military with it back against the wall but only if he can follow through on his policies. I don’t know what he’ll do but the military has to be careful since Imran is popular in Punjab and any wrong step can burn all the faiji foundation properties and cantonments in the province. It isn’t East Pakistan where you could launch Operation Searchlight and rather surrender to India to lose Bangladesh than have a constitutional transfer of power.
