no, that is not always true.
sometimes, what is too good to be true, is called for, as it makes its way home to the heart of the person, one begins to like & finds a reciprocrated genuine care, in return.
being open & abiding by the rule of being principled, realistic & your self, does encourage good energy to come about, in time.

I do not see a mother's love, for one example, to be bookish...
I do not understand why the focus is set on only one particular type of love whereas poster has not mentioned as such.:)

I tried coming up with an example but just can't seem to think of a way to describe what it feels like to be truly loved. It's an extradinary feeling but very, very hard to put in words.

folks, love comes & all the wrong that happen, is put on the side.
that is where it belongs.
love can be from a parent, a gran parnt, a child, a friend, or a companion.
all we should do is that respond in kind, genuinely.
