Yes it is indeed, his autobiography is worth reading too. You just see how he changes, how he is first so, well how do I put it, not violent, but a bit fanatic maybe, but after hadj he softens, he sees the other side, he sees true Islamic spirit. Too bad he got killed before he could do something with his new enlightening.
There is an old movie about his life, worthe watching too.
